In Search of Boundless Possibilities.

MagX Co., Ltd. was established in 1965, as the first specialist manufacturer of bonded magnets in Japan.
Plastic magnets are composed primarily of magnetic iron oxide powder (magnetic ferrite powder) and special resin binders and manufactured using molding machines that are specifically tailored to meet the desired product application. When we started out on our journey, however, we were faced with the ultimate challenge: very few of the special resins, magnetic ferrite powder, and molding equipment specially designed for plastic magnets were available at the time.
Mindful of the difficulties, we sought cooperation from raw material suppliers and manufacturers of plastics molding machines as we set out to develop the plastic magnet.
Fortunately, the manufacturers we approached were equally enthusiastic about the concept of a plastic magnet, and it was their tenacity and energetic cooperation in the R&D arena that enabled us to create the first true plastic magnet in Japan.
Thanks to broad support from our customers, and generous cooperation and assistance from many individuals and organizations, we have become the only specialist manufacturer of bonded magnets in Japan and the technological leader in the industry, all the while achieving excellent business growth.
As a pioneer in the bonded magnet industry and the only specialist manufacturer in Japan, we will continue to place a high priority on technological research and development. Never forgetting our original objectives, we will work towards developing innovative, high added-value products and applications that are perfectly suited to emerging needs, and actively seek out and open up new markets. If along the way we can be of assistance to our many customers, we will be grateful for the opportunity to do so. And, as the bonded magnet industry grows, we will be delighted if at the same time we can make a contribution to the wider community.
